No, access is given to guide dogs only due to the compact and enclosed nature of the grounds, as well as the welfare of our resident ducks. 

Pre-booking isn't required, however, we can't guarantee access as we do have a limit on how many people can visit per day.

Yes, we have now introduced three self-guided access times to the Hall. These are at 12:30 and 13:00 (Please note these can still be booked online)

No, parking is free for visitors using the Hall and gardens. We also have a number of disabled parking spaces at the front on the Hall.

Yes, access via the front bridge is accessible, however the surface is uneven. Wheelchair access is only limited to the ground floor as there are no lifts. The upper floors are uneven so extra care must be taken. Please take this into consideration when booking a house tour. For those with disabilities, the buttery does have a small display to look at and we have a virtual tour on the website free of charge.

Yes, access is via the south bridge. The path to the bridge is closely mown and is slightly uneven.

Yes, we have both men’s and ladies and two disabled toilets. All toilets are regularly cleaned and sanitized.

Yes, our baby changing facility is in our courtyard. Please ask a member of staff or volunteer to direct you.

Yes, we provide benches as well as picnic benches/tables and chairs. Please note these are limited, and you are permitted to bring your own chairs if you wish.

Yes, refreshments are available from the Malthouse during opening hours.
